Presenting Shakespeare
Monday, March 28th 2016, 7pm

Join us for an onstage conversation on the art of designing posters for Shakespeare. This event celebrates the new book Presenting Shakespeare: 1,100 Posters from Around the World, published by Princeton Architectural Press.

The book’s authors, Mirko Ilic and Steven Heller, will lead a conversation with legendary graphic designers Milton Glaser (Theatre for a New Audience) and Paul Davis (The Public Theater), and acclaimed director Julie Taymor (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), who will show examples of their iconic work. The discussion will be followed by an audience Q&A and a book signing. Books will be on sale at the event, and TFANA Subscribers receive 10% off all books with their Subscriber Card.

Dvojka

We just designed Damir Imamovic's Sevdah Takht's "Dvojka" CD and LP packaging.
The title, Dvojka, refers (perhaps slightly provocatively) to the 2/4 rhythm of modern sevdah’s ‘golden age’ of the 1950s and 60s.
Sevdalinka (also known as Sevdah music) is a traditional genre of folk music from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sevdalinka is an integral part of the Bosniak culture, but is also spread across the ex-Yugoslavia region. In a musical sense, Sevdalinka is characterized by a slow or moderate tempo and intense, emotional melodies.

Interview with Poster Poster Magazine

Natalia Delgado from Poster Poster Magazine
Issue #2 (March 2016) devoted 24 pages to an interview with me,
don't worry with lots of white space.
As many of my friends know, I don't watch or read my interviews because most of the time I get embarrassed by the ridiculous things I say. If you come across something like that, please don't let me know. It's too late.

You can read the full interview here:
