Some of my viewers complain that I don’t post enough Mirko.
I am doing this to please you and I will even toss in some Slavko. For those of
you who are not from former Yugoslavia have no idea what I am talking about. I
am talking about the fictitious comic characters, Mirko and Slavko. It was a propaganda comic, aiming towards the youth,
drawn by Desimir Žižović "Buin", that started comics in 1958 and ended
in 1979.
Mirko and Slavko were two partisan couriers that fought
against Germans during the Second World War. By the amount of Germans they killed
in the comics, I have no idea why the war lasted so long.
