While I was browsing on YouTube, I came across the title sequence for Nora Ephron film 

You've Got Mail from 1998 that Milton Glaser, Walter Bernard, and I art directed, 

and Lauren DeNapoli animated.

"The Victor" in Film

This morning I received an email from Zoran Golubovic. The only thing in the email was this video without any accompanying explanation. After I started to watch the video I was quite surprised to see that this short movie was based on my old comic, "The Victor," from 1977. 

I really liked the naivete and cuteness of the costumes and the actors, Vukasin Nikovic and Igor Savic. The movie was directed by Momcilo Golubovic. 

Thank you, guys, this was a really pleasant surprise. For my non-Serbian speaking friends, below is my comic with the English translation.

Lettering Large in Small Print

The first printed reviews of Steve Heller and my new book Lettering Large are beginning to appear in magazines and newspapers.

The October 2013 issue of Interior Design
dedicated three pages to the subject
of the book. Unfortunately, they did not dedicate enough time to notice that they missed
to mention one of the authors of the book (me).
But, at least, they managed to mention the book.

The book also has a small feature in the November issue of Italian lifestyle magazine URBAN.

The culture section of the Serbian political daily newspaper, Politika, dedicated a full-page interview, by Snezana Ristic, with me about Lettering Large.
