For those who commit crimes or break the rules, the military just systems can be unforgiving. offenders are punished, locked up or thrown out. Military courts, by and large, do not recognize the idea of rehabilitation. With growing numbers of troops acting out the violent anger and reckless behavior from combat trauma, this is becoming a bigger problem. Already, there are are 17,000 active-duty soldiers in legal trouble and awaiting court martial or unceremonious discharge.Illustration art directed by Josh Klenert.
