1917-2017
To mark the 100th year anniversary of the 'October Revolution' Serge Serov decided to invite a big group of prominent graphic designers/artist around the world and asked them to create a poster, using only red and black color, as a personal assessment on what has happened in those 100 years.
"The contest was held in principle without an ideological focus, without defining any vector, estimates and definitions that could be put in its name, so that everyone would decide for themselves, how to interpret the concussion of the universe - as an impulse to the future or the greatest tragedy of Russian and World History?"
Titled 1917-2017 the show of 500 of chosen posters will be opening in October in Berlin and Prague. I'm honored that my poster is one of the poster selected for the show.
