Browsing through antique bookshop websites I came across this Hungarian website and to my surprise found out that somebody used my art created in 1985 for the movie Red and Black on the cover of Demokrata, a samizdat political and cultural magazine published by AB Független in 1989.
AB Független was a semi-underground publisher established by the Democratic Opposition in Hungary to publish not merely political literature, but also literature that was banned by the Communist politics. At that time Hungary was a Communist country.
What is quite amazing, this Anti-communist pamphlet is selling for 200€ ($250).
The beauty of capitalism.
