Interview in Polygraphy Magazine

I am pleased to let you know that, after serving as a jurist for the International Triennial of Stage Poster in Sofia last month, I was featured in an interview by the Triennial’s co-founder, Albena Spasova, in the magazine Polygraphy.”

The magazine is the official media of the Printing Industry Union of Bulgaria, and Albena’s work to put on the Triennial has helped make it one of the most important stage poster shows in the world, so it was a great honor to be interviewed by Albena and featured in the magazine in this way.

This issue contained both the interview with me and an interview with Wiesław Grzegorczyk, who was also a member of the Triennial’s jury. Each of us was shown alongside some of our work. The next issue will include interviews with two more jury members.

Apologies to those of you who are not able to read Bulgarian, but I promise that my interview was wonderful as always. Even further apologies to those of you who can read Bulgarian.

”Modern Times” Design Documentary

I am pleased to share with you this episode of the 2023 documentary television show “Moderna Vremena” (”Modern Times”) authored by Dubravko Merlić. The series aired in 2023, but I didn’t get this link to share it with you all until now. This is the sixth episode, dedicated to design in the 1980s in Croatia. The segment about my work begins at 30:50.

Unfortunately, the show is in Croatian, so my Croatian viewers will have to deal with being able to understand what I’m saying.

Interview in Magyar Narancs (Hungarian Orange)

Because I don't read Hungarian, I think this is my best interview ever!
The interview appears in Magyar Narancs (Hungarian Orange). The title of the newspaper is a reference to The Witness (1969), one of the most satirical depictions of Soviet Communism in Eastern European film.

Interview with Artistic License

When I was offered by Rob Snow to give an interview for Artistic License via Skype,
I was thinking it was going to be in printed form like their other interviews. But Rob decided to release the interview in video form. On top of that, unedited and raw. Even if I had known that, I don't think I would have done much better.
Luckily, I don't watch or read my interviews anyway, it's too embarrassing. And believe it or not, I have an accent too. :(

Watch the interview here.
