Flagler Steakhouse at The Breakers Hotel

Flagler Steakhouse is a restaurant that is part of the historic Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida. It is named after Henry Flagler, who established the hotel in 1896.

We created our design of collateral (wine list, menus, match boxes, etc.) to compliment the colors and stripes from  interior of the restaurant, designed by Adam Tihany. In 2012 we also designed the HMF restaurant collateral for the same hotel.

50th Anniversary Logo for Satirical Theatre Kerempuh

We were asked recently to designed the logo for the 50th Anniversary of Satirical Theatre Kerempuh. The theatre is known for staging the satirical and political comedies. To stay in that spirit fo the theatre, we decided to "deface" their original logo by tallying fifty years over it, as a prisoner (political?) or a stranded person would do.
Because the "defacing" looks like graffiti and knowing that the logo will be used for billboards and posters, we intentionally left large white areas to encourage people to show "their creativity".

Polet Comics in 2014 Calendar

I was quite surprised to find that the Croatian Association of Comic Strip Friends and Strip Forum Publishing Company produced this year's calendar using thirteen of my comics for the youth paper Polet, from 1976-78. I'm also pleased that Mladen Novakovic, the publisher of Strip Forum,
has agreed to distribute this calendar free-of-charge.

100 Illustrators

I'm extremely honored to be chosen by
Steve Heller and Julius Wiedemann as one
of the one hundred most significant illustrators
in their new book 100 Illustrators,
published by Taschen.

"Culled from our Illustration Now! series is this selection of today’s most successful and important illustrators from around the globe.
In his introduction, Steven Heller fleshes out the challenging process of narrowing down a field of 600 illustrators to a selection of the 100 most significant.
The final cut, including artists such as Istvan Banyai, Gary Baseman, Seymour Chwast, Paul Davis,
Brad Holland, Mirko Ilić, Anita Kunz, and Christoph Niemann, provides a snapshot of the highly dynamic and diverse world of contemporary illustration."
